 He is a a man who truly loves life. An 89 year old (or rather in his case young) man, legally blind living on his own and has nothing to complaint. Fred goes out to have tea with his lady friends and even "corresponds" with his faraway gal friends. He goes to listen to talks and sometimes even gives motivational talks to groups himself. He write short stories for the blinds, a great artist and is a terrific cook!!. This summer had a chance to savor his amazingly yummy Cheese Straws he made himself !!Love you Fred.you're my idol!. Here's the recipe in his own handwriting which he wrote using a giant magnifying glass!!

                                                     If he can write this you can read it!

                       Use mild white cheddar cheese and added with a little red cheddar for colour. 

                       according to Fred feel free to indulge in a little more than 3 oz of cheese in the straws

                                             Bake for 15 minutes
